
The Indian scooter market is seeing many new electric models, but scooters with regular engines (ICE) are still selling the most. In April 2025, the top 3 scooters sold a total of 512,182 units. This is 6.31% less than April 2024, when they sold 546,671 units — a drop of 34,489 scooters.
Top 3 Scooters April 2025
Honda Activa – Looking at the numbers, Honda Activa was the best-selling scooter in April 2025. It has held this position for a long time. Last month, Activa sold 194,787 units, making up 38.03% of the top 3 scooter sales. However, this is a 25.17% drop compared to April 2024, when it sold 260,300 units — a decrease of 65,513 units.
TVS Jupiter – TVS Jupiter took the 2nd place with 102,588 units sold last month, making up 20.03% of the total sales in the top 3 list. This is a 33.08% increase compared to the 77,086 units sold in April 2024, which means it sold 25,502 more units than last year. TVS recently teased the new Jupiter 125, which is expected to boost their sales even more.
Suzuki Access – In 3rd place is Suzuki with its Access scooter, which made up 12.71% of the total sales on this list. Suzuki sold 65,107 units last month, showing a 5.08% increase compared to 61,960 units sold last year — a rise of 3,147 units. Suzuki recently launched the 2025 Access TFT Edition to help increase sales even more.
