1. Next-Gen Hyundai Creta:
As part of its 26 planned launches by FY30, Hyundai is gearing up to introduce the next-generation Creta, internally codenamed SX3. Expected to make its debut in 2027, the new model will likely sport a completely redesigned look. Meanwhile, the company is also working on a mid-cycle facelift for the electric variant of the Creta.
While the current engine and transmission options are likely to be retained, a major mechanical update could come in the form of a strong hybrid petrol system. This setup is expected to combine a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and a larger-capacity battery, aimed at enhancing overall efficiency, reducing emissions, and providing improved acceleration support.
2. New Hyundai Premium 7-Seater SUV:
Hyundai is set to expand its SUV lineup with a new premium three-row model, positioned between the Alcazar and the Tucson. Production is expected to take place at the company’s new Talegaon facility in Maharashtra. While official specifications are still under wraps, early reports suggest it could feature a strong hybrid powertrain similar to the one planned for the upcoming Creta. The launch is tentatively expected around 2027.
